OF CARIOCAS & GAUCHOS - 9 days/8 nights in Argentina & Brazil
DAY 1 Depart from Miami to Buenos Aires.
DAY 2 Arrival and transfer to Hotel. Half day city tour visiting May Square, Government House, Cathedral, Columbus Square, Boca District, San Martin Square, Santa Fe Avenue, Recoleta, Faculty of Law, Grand Bourg Square, Palermo Chico district, plus the famous Colon Opera House. 
DAY 3 Full day tour of the countryside, visiting a working farm, watching local cowboys in their environment. Enjoy authentic Argentinean barbecue, dessert and local wines, followed by entertainment by folk music and dancing and horse shows (B, L).
DAY 4 Day at leisure in Buenos Aires for last minute shipping on just to seat and relax in one of the many cafes. Evening farewell dinner and Tango show. (B).
DAY 5 Flight from Buenos Aires to Iguassu. Arrive and transfer in hotel. Brazilian Falls tour on own (B).
DAY 6 Morning Argentine Falls tour, crossing the bridge by motorcoach, over the Iguassu River, the frontier between Brazil and Argentina. Walk through tracks and footbridges to reach the Devil's Gorge, one of the highest falls. Pass by San Martin, Dos Hermanos, Bosetti, Adam and Eve Falls, among others. Afternoon flight from Iguassu to Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to hotel (B).
DAY 7 Morning City and Sugar Loaf tour visiting the world famous beaches, sights throughout the city, concluding the tour at the top of the Sugar Loaf by a cable-car ride up to 395 meters above the sea level, for a breathtaking view of Copacabana (B)
DAY 8 Corcovado and Tijuca Forest tour. Scenic ride along Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, crossing over to the traditional residential area o f Cosme Velho, and disembarking at the Corcovado railroad station to take a train ride through lush forest up to the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Back by train as far as the Paineiras station, transferring to a bus for an unforgettable ride through the Tijuca Rain Forest. Return via a panoramic road to the Sao Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. Evening farewell dinner and samba show, with a presentation of the beautiful Carnaval costumes, uplifting music and the diverse regional folkloric dances of Brazil. (B)
DAY 9 Optional Half day Petropolis tour or at leisure to explore the city on your own. Late afternoon transfer to airport for return flight to the U.S. (B)
