ECUADOR: FLOTEL ORELLANA & RIOBAMBA BY TRAIN - 9 days/8 nights
Day 1 — SAT -Depart from Houston to Quito. Upon arrival, transfer to Dann Carlton Hotel similar, for 3 nights, daily breakfast included (B).
 Day 2 — F/D Otavalo Indian Market tour with lunch (B, L).
 Day 3 — City and Equatorial Monument tour, visiting colonial center, elegant cathedral of San Francisco, and Quito's oldest monastery. Visit the Monument that marks the Equator (B).
Day 4 — Quito/ Cotopaxi/ Riobamba. Climb to the rooftop of Ecuador, as you go over the Andean highlands by rail, with stop at Latacunga market. Arrival at Riobamba where you will tour the city and stay overnight at the La Andaluza. (B,L,D)
Day 5 — Depart to Alausi and board the train to Cuenca, visiting Devil's Nose, a track of loops and switch-backs that cut into 1000- ft cliffs. Overnight in Cuenca. (B,L,D)
  
 Day 6 —  Cuenca City tour. This charming city has flowered plazas, religious art treasures and decorated houses that surround the Tomebamba River. Great handicraft market. Transfer to Quito, overnight at Dann Carlton or similar. (B,L)
Day 7 — Transfer out of Quito for a flight to Lago Agrio. Full accommodations and meals included at Flotel Orellana. The three-deck flat- bottomed riverboat takes you through the Amazon Basin experiencing an array of exotic flora and fauna. Breathtaking vistas welcome you to Ecuador's northeastern corner of the Amazonia (B,L,D)
 Day 8 & 9 — Day trips are taken in canoes, and short hikes through the forest (B,L,D)
Day 10 — Return to Quito. Transfer to Dann Carlton or similar Hotel (B)
DAY 11 — Transfer to the airport to return to the U.S. (B)
