Why do they call it
'54 Hours of Fun?'
Maybe you should ask our guests who start off their weekend on the video and restroom-equipped luxury coach from Southern California.
Here's how you'll likely spend your weekend with South Bay River Rafting...
ITINERARY DAY 1
(WEEKEND, TIMES APPROX)
7:30AMHearty breakfast. Group leaders please check in with head boatman during breakfast for boating assignments.
Late AMRight after the tour, a mandatory safety orientation and boat assignment (no alcohol allowed in either the raft OR your bloodstream).
AfternoonRaft the lower half, including the famous 'American Gorge,' with lunch along the river. Shuttle back to camp. You'll have several hours free time before dinner. Spend it fishing, swimming, relaxing, or walk down to the river and watch other rafters challenge the granddaddy of all rapids, 'TroubleMaker!"
Evening Dinner at 7:30pm, followed by an entertaining video and slide show of YOUR run through the whitewater. Afterwards, relax by the roaring campfire, or rally a second wind and party it up with live music and dancing at the local cowboy bar.
ITINERARY DAY 2
7:30AMBreakfast, followed by departure of first shuttle to the top of the river at 8:15-8:30. Then raft the upper stretch of the river.
After raftingShower and pack luggage. Bus passengers load up gear, with Valley bags going in the rear storage bay. After lunch depart for home. Airport shuttle guests please inquire as to your departure time from camp. Out of consideration for others who also have flights to catch, latecomers will be left behind. Return flights must be scheduled for 6:00 pm or later.
