Visit one of the most interesting countries in South America. The colonial city of Cuzco, where the Inca and the Spanish Conquistadores’ civilizations melted into one of the best examples of architecture and religion. One will be amazed at the citadel perched up on a high plateau: Machu Picchu. The capital, Lima, has beautiful examples of the baroque art and Museums with archaeological treasures. MAY 06 – Depart from the U.S. to Lima. Arrival in Lima and overnight.

MAY 07 – Flight to Cuzco, transfer to hotel, afternoon city tour and nearby ruins. (B)

MAY 08 – Full day Machu Picchu excursion with lunch. (B,L)

MAY 09 – Full day Pisac Market and the Ollantaytambo Indian sites with lunch. (B,L)

MAY 10 – Day at leisure in Cuzco to enjoy the ruins, go shopping or relax. Evening folkloric show and dinner. (B)

MAY 11 – Early flight from Cuzco to Lima. City tour of Lima, including the famous colonial section: the wood carved balconies, Churches, plazas, the flower market and the very modern section, including hotel inspections. Luncheon. (B,L)

MAY 12 – Leisure time in Lima. Suggested tour of the Nazca Lines, Gold or Larco Herrera Museums. Farewell dinner with folkloric show. (B,D)

MAY 13 – Transfer out to the airport for a return flight to the U.S. or Extension to the Amazon (B)
